In a not distant future probably cars e airplane will go through streets and sky without the necessity of drivers or pilots.
But it will be all so easy? Not at all.
In USA, on the state of California the 20% of first owners or adopters of EV (Electric veichols) probably will sell their cars for rebuy an old fashion veichle.
Why? Probably because on their travels will they not find easly a recharge station or maybe beacuse the recharging time will take too long.
In Europe the car producer will continuing to sell EV aimed by financial helps from national governments. But the road It's still long.
For the airplanes the problems will come from the computers and elctronics devices used to control the flights.
What could will happen if all five computers dedicated to the governance of an airplane with more than 300 passengers will be go on shutdown at the same moment?
The computers on board are settting to enter in function in case another one failes. This is called redudancy.
So the five computers, in case of emergency, will be enter in function one after one.
If on an unfortunate and unpredictable event all computer will go in shutdown only a very trained pilot could be save the situation.
This strange and abnormal situation has really occoured on a flight for instance.
So in the future pilots will be still necessary and they will need to study, ironically, much more than now to prevent unusuals situations.
